The world is becoming more and more a kingdom of images, but can sound still be magic ? Instead of images, sounds have the capacity to make us travel as far as our imagination can go.
In my work, I try to understand what is sound, and how it can impact on ourself.
I'm searching for a kind of echo between our own inner world and a universal expression.

Chloé Sanchez composes and assembles sonic objects for radio, documentary, visual arts, and live performance. Her work brings together radio art, electroacoustic composition, field recording, and immersive forms.
Before settling in the south of France, she worked as a producer for France Culture (Sur les Docks, Création on Air) and as a radio director for France Inter alongside Daniel Mermet on the program Là-bas si j’y suis. She also collaborated with Récréation Sonore and La Radio Cousue Main on Radio Campus Paris, while regularly developing sound installation and performance projects.
This artistic approach began in 2008 in India, in Auroville — the international township near Pondicherry — through her involvement with AurovilleRadio.
In 2016, she earned a diploma in electroacoustic composition from the Pantin Conservatory (CRD), where she studied with Christine Groult, and became a laureate of the INA GRM “Banc d’Essai” competition. INA GRM
Based since 2017 in Reillanne, France, she founded the association Corps Sonore, dedicated to raising awareness of listening practices through the creation, production, and dissemination of sound and radio works, as well as educational activities. Within this framework, she developed a sound and radio creation class in Montjustin (04) and launched Reillann’Air during the lockdown — a community web radio run collectively by local residents.
Since 2023, she has been producing immersive podcast series for the nine Regional Natural Parks of the PACA region.
